Michele A. Roberts

Michele A. Roberts is the former Executive Director of the National Basketball Players Association and one of the most respected legal minds in American sport. The first woman to lead a major U.S. professional sports union, she championed player rights, economic fairness, and community impact. Before joining the NBPA, she was a top-ranked trial lawyer with over 150 jury trials and served as Chief of the Trial Division at the Public Defender Service in Washington, D.C. Today, she continues her influence through board service and leadership in civil rights advocacy.
